Historic Sansome Street Building Sells For $83M

TA Realty just sold 115 Sansome St in San Francisco for $83M on behalf of The Realty Associates Fund X. The building was sold to Vanbarton Group. The 15-story, 117k SF historic building is fully leased.

TA Realty converted 70% of the building into creative office space featuring concrete ceilings and floors, brick walls and copper-clad windows.

The company restored the lobby and converted the top floors from traditional floor plates to creative and collaborative workspace. The lobby includes Blue Bottle Coffee and the Parisian restaurant and cocktail lounge The Treasury.

TA Realty partner Jim Raisides repped the firm along with partners Doug Engelman and Scott Amling, officer Luke Marchand and associate Greg Bonomo.

JLL managing director Michel Seifer and VP Erik Hanson repped TA Realty in brokering the transaction.

The building was constructed in 1912 to be the headquarters for the Standard Oil Co.
