With nearly half a million square feet of San Francisco office space, Dropbox has more than it needs and is looking to sublease some of its China Basin headquarters (shown above).
The cloud storage company wants to sublease about 200k SF of its office in China Basin's Wharfside Building. It just expanded its footprint there last year to 215k SF total when it took over 110k SF vacated by UCSF.
The move would up the opportunity to consolidate workers at 333 and 345 Brannan St, with the option to expand into 301 Brannan, according to the Silicon Valley Business Journal. Dropbox signed the leases for 280k SF at 333 and 345 Brannan at the beginning of last year. [SVBJ]
