Coolest Broker Gift Ever? Drones!

We all know drones are taking over real estate. Now, they're being taken home. Brokers at this month's opening of 2600 Camino Ramon at Bishop Ranch were surprised to get the remote-controlled send-away gift. Sunset Development prez Alex Mehran Jr. wanted to offer drones because they're a hot item, especially in tech-obsessed S.F. (would the equivalent present in LA be Botox gift cards?). The design team behind the event (Vanderbyl Design) came up with the Launch Your Vision packaging.

The event kicked off interest for leasing at 2600 Camino Ramon, which has 1M SF of renovated office space up for grabs. Alex says the space is a fraction of what companies are paying in the city. At 1.8M SF, 2600 is the largest office building in the Bay Area, with four interconnected wings amidst a 100-acre park-like setting (AT&T is a major tenant). Brokers got a "bigger picture" of the area via a drone flying around outside; the footage was simulcast onto screens where lunch was held.
