Central SoMa to Get More Housing

Get ready for more housing coming to SoMa, with a $30M residential development in the works. Property owner Don Bauer, under the name Freelon LLC, submitted preliminary plans with the city last week to build a 77-unit project on top of ground-floor retail at 552 Brannan. The development would include one 45-foot building and one 130-foot building connected by an internal courtyard and walkway, reports the San Francisco Business Times. Just blocks from Caltrain, the project feeds into the rezoning of Central SoMa.
