201 Spear Scores Tech Lease

iMatchative just inked a 14k SF lease expansion at the 246k SF tower in the South Financial District, which was purchased by KBS in December 2013 for about $121M. As we told you last month, Fisher Development is leaving 201 Spear this month for new space at 601 Cal. KBS is a major player in the S.F. market: Affiliated companies own Ten Almaden, Corporate Technology Centre, 350 Plumeria Drive and 3200 North First Street, all in San Jose, as well as the Towers at Emeryville. Zach Siegel and Sam Wasserstein of Cushman & Wakefield repped KBS REIT III. iMatchative uses algorithms and statistics to aid business. Now it's 93% occupied.
