The median rent for a one-bedroom apartment in San Francisco decreased 1.7% to $3,500 from November to December, but the city held on to its spot as the most expensive rental market in the country, according to the latest report from Zumper.

Rent for a two-bedroom apartment in San Francisco fell 1.5% to $4,650.
