Clark Pacific just tapped industry vet Terry Street to lead its design-build services division, marking the first time he's worked for someone in 20 years. The longtime prez and CEO of Roebbelen Contracting quit in 2012 to go into retirement, filling days with charity work on the Mercy Foundation Board. Above, with a nice catch—and release—on his last Alaska trip (he’s going again next week). His longtime pal Clark prez of biz development Don Clark called him up one day to ask if he'd consider returning to the biz. A handshake and a few drinks later, he was on board to start the following Monday. He says he intends to help Clark become experts in the parking and the vertical building space.

In San Jose he's talking to an auto dealer to do the entire project (parts, service department, upstairs parking) and Chevron folks in Bakersfield to do the concrete work. Terry instills his love for the 49ers on his grandson Donovan, above. He sadly missed out on doing precast work with Clark on Levi's Stadium; Clark also just did the precast on the Hoover Pavilion parking structure on Stanford's campus to support the new hospital. He's still finding time for charity work, overseeing construction of $5M in TIs for one group. He calls Clark's work "precise and immaculate," citing the exterior architectural cladding of the St. Regis and W Hotel. Clark is currently doing architectural precast for 340 Fremont and is on Phase 3 of Trinity Place apartments on Market.
