Several projects have been planned or proposed for S.F.’s central and southeastern waterfronts, highlighted by three large mixed-use projects near each other along the city’s bayshore. The site of the Potrero Power Plant could be home to residential, retail, office and industrial buildings totaling 3M SF on 21 acres if District Development’s $2B vision comes to life. Build Inc.’s plan for the India Basin neighborhood calls for an urban village featuring a mix of housing and retail and commercial space in a proposed $300M-$500M project, reports The Registry. Finally, Forest City is eying 28 acres at Pier 70 which would include up to 2,150 residential units, 30% of them affordable, and up to 2M SF of office space. [REG]
