Trammell JV Plans Mixed-Use Near Diridon Station

A JV of Trammell Crow, Bentall Kennedy and Multi-Employer Property Trust has plans for a transit-oriented development in San Jose.

The JV purchased an 8.2-acre parcel at 374-384 West Santa Clara St for $58.5M near Diridon Station. The site is zoned for one nine-story residential building and two 10-story office buildings. Plans call for 960k SF of office space, 30k SF of retail and 325 units.

Large floor plates and high clear heights are planned for the office buildings with an eye towards attracting technology tenants. Diridon Station is the site of an upcoming BART station. [CPE]
