We found out just how much it costs to buy office complexes in southern Marin County. Yesterday, we told you about two sales and today we can reveal price tags and a buyer's identity. (So you can see if you were correct in your office pool.) Sources tell us it was New York Life that scooped up Drake’s Landing in Greenbrae--a three-building, 130k SF complex that's 88% leased--for about $60M. Wood Island in Larkspur traded to Harrigan, Weidenmuller under a 1031 Exchange for about $40M. The two-building site (pictured) is 95% leased and comprises two buildings that total 82k SF. It was a competitive process with a "great outcome" for all parties involved, sources close to the deal say.
