Who knew March Madness and the rainforest go hand in hand? At the California Academy of Sciences' weekly Thursday party last night, the theme was sports-meets-science. The largest spherical rainforest exhibit in the world closed around half time (7:45pm). Pub trivia got the young professional crowd guessing what number of basketballs would it take to fill the Earth and who has the tallest vertical jump in the animal kingdom. Attendees also made their own sports pennants and chugged local craft brews while watching the AAC & Mountain West tournaments live on museum plasmas.
