Here, CM Commercial's Matt Currie shot this leopard grouper with a spear gun off the Pacific coast of Baja in October 2012 in about 40’ of water. (Best part is he shot another one about the same size about 15 minutes later.) His firm just did the lease to double the space for Dr. Dre's new company--Beats Music--in Dogpatch.
Colliers EVP Jay Sternberg has some trash to talk when it comes to his catch, telling college friend and Quantum Real Estate Advisors EVP Jordan Kaufman (pictured in our Fish Tales promo) to "put his minnow back in the pond." Check out this "real fish," he says: a 40” Steelhead caught on the swing in BC last September. When it comes to chatting recent deals, however, his lips are sealed.
Fisher Development's Lance Minor is swimming with a monster ray he caught in Grand Cayman Island, where his friend is a scuba diving instructor. (It's sort of a weird fishing pic, but he's a former Bisnow sales rep, so this makes sense.) Among other projects, Fisher is starting a ground-up, mixed-use building at Beach and Hyde near Fisherman's Wharf.
