Credit Karma Seals The Deal

Good karma is coming to the Phelan Building: In March we were the first to report about Credit Karma's LOI at 760 Market and now the two-floor, 46k SF deal is done, filling up the rest of the iconic 11-story building at the junction of Market and O'Farrell streets and Grant Avenue. Other tenants include Twitter founder Evan Williams’ latest venture Medium (a futuristic way to think about writing) and Voxer, best known for its walkie talkie app for smartphones. And Sears recently opened its West Coast apparel office inside. The landlord is Thor Equities, a big Manhattan player that recently wrapped up a multi-year renovation of the Flatiron-style property. The credit score company, which has sat in 18k SF at 115 Sansome, recently raised $85M in a new round led by Google Capital.
