CIM Sells San Francisco Apartments

LA-based CIM Group completed the sales of 12 apartment complexes in San Francisco--the last of a 22-building portfoliototaling 418 units acquired in 2009; the others were sold last fall. The firm acquired them through a deed in lieu of foreclosure andspent the past three years making substantial improvements to many of the properties, which arelocated in various types of neighborhoods throughout the city. CIM first set its sights on the Greater Bay Area in 2001 and owns 1.7M SF of Class-A office propertiesplus two hotels in Oakland.
