On May 30, the Positive Pedalers bike riders and their supporters gathered for a send-off and fundraiser in Veritas Investments' donated lobby space at Market and Church. Now the riders are pedaling their way on the AIDSLifeCycle trek from S.F. to LA through June 8. Here Lucas Montgomery and Tim Wood of Positive Pedalers chat with Veritas' Steven Thrower. The City of Hope real estate & construction council’s annual Bike to Hope in Petaluma is now set for Oct. 17. Having doubled every year, they expect a sell-out of 150 slots—which is all that host venue Lagunitas Brewing Co. can accommodate, says chair Joe Olla of Nibbi Bros. Also new: SB Architects is the top dog sponsor.
