Trinity Properties
A sculpture of Venus will dominate San Francisco in the Trinity Place development. The 92-foot work of art by Denver artist Lawrence Argent will be part of a larger art plaza known as C’era Una Volta (Once Upon A Time), reports the San Francisco Chronicle. The $1.5M sculpture will be the showpiece.

San Francisco requires 1% of a project's costs be dedicated to art. This can take the form of a donation to the Public Art Trust Fund or be built on-site with supervision from the Planning Department.
Trinity Place is being developed by Trinity Properties, owned by the Sangiacomo family. Venus was described as a passion of the late Angelo Sangiacomo, the family patriarch. [SFC]
