By the end of 2014, Bisnow profiled and celebrated the top 300 commercial real estate women in DC, NY, Dallas, Atlanta, LA, Chicago and Boston. We're proud of this nationwide initiative and want to tell you more about it. Here's a look at the 500 attendees of our event last fall in Atlanta, where we honored the top 40 local women in commercial real estate.

We have been overwhelmed by your support of this very important cause. Studies show that women make up less than 5% of the C-suite in commercial real estate. Fortunately, women (and men) of influence at forward-thinking companies are working to change that through leadership and mentoring programs. We had our first event in January 2014 in Washington, DC, where (despite freezing weather), some 700 came out to show support.

One week from today, we will honor 50 women at the San Diego Public Library.
