New Charter School Campus Planned For North Phoenix

Great Hearts Academies is planning a $17M campus in north Phoenix at the northwest corner of 32nd Street and Hearn Road. The building will be the new home to two existing schools, Archway North Phoenix and North Phoenix Prep, the Phoenix Business Journal reports. The schools opened in 2011 and occupy leased space at the Dream City Church property.

The new campus is expected to be open for the 2017-18 school year, serving 1,600 K-12 students at full capacity. It will include upgraded classrooms, science labs, student libraries, art studios, music and drama rooms, and a full-size gym. [PBJ]
