Cresa Phoenix Takes Top Honors In Chair Hockey

Here's Cresa Phoenix, posing after winning Goodmans Chair Hockey Tournament. This year’s event raised $10k for First Place AZ, a nonprofit working to ensure housing options are available for people with autism and other conditions.

The concept of chair hockey is similar to ice hockey, except in chair hockey all players are seated in ergonomic Herman Miller Aeron chairs. The games are played in three four-minute periods with a rubber puck and wooden hockey sticks in a rink enclosed by cubicle walls.

The spirited chair hockey event was held recently at Goodmans Interior Structures showroom, 1400 East Indian School in Phoenix. Hundreds of spectators cheered on 16 real estate industry teams, which included architects, interior designers, general contractors and commercial real estate brokers.
