Tempe Industrial Trades, Making Way for Tesla

Wentworth Property Co acquired the 42k SF 2077 E University Dr, an industrial property from Essex-Scot, a window maker. The building will house a service facility for electric auto maker Tesla Motors, making it the second such service center in the Valley. Essex-Scot, which has owned the building for a little more than a year, determined that it's too small for its needs, AZ Big Media reports. Lee & Associates' Dave Johnson and Jerry Marrell repped Essex-Scot, while Cushman & Wakefield's Andy Markham repped the buyer. [AZBM]
