Orbital ATK Expands In Gilbert

Orbital ATK is adding 60k SF and 155 high-paying engineering jobs to its satellite manufacturing facility in Gilbert.

The aerospace company plans to build the next generation of NASA and NOAA weather satellites. The Gilbert facility also builds earth science satellites for NASA, assembles next-generation Iridian communication satellites, and provides space technology for national security, the Phoenix Business Journal reports.

Orbital ATK already has over 800k SF in its Gilbert, Chandler and Mesa facilities. [PBJ]
