The Opus Group started work on a spec industrial project in the Longbow Business Park and Golf Club in Mesa. Construction on the 147K SF project, Longbow Gateway One, began this month, with project completion scheduled for January.

Longbow Business Park and Golf Club is a mixed-use commercial development, which features the Longbow Golf Club, as well as planned office, industrial, retail and hotel spaces.

Near the southeast corner of Higley Road and Longbow Parkway, the development offers proximity to the 2M SF Boeing Co. factory, which makes AH-64E Apache attack helicopters. Other nearby businesses include the Falcon Field Airport.

“We look to capitalize on the steady demand in the market from a variety of users,” Opus Development Co. Vice President, Real Estate Development Sean Cummings said. “We're designing the building with maximum flexibility in mind to meet the needs of users of all sizes.”
