Major Manufacturer Comes to Surprise

IRIS USA, the American branch of major Japanese manufacturer IRIS Ohyama of Sendai, will build a 280k SF facility in the city of Surprise, the Phoenix Business Journal reports. Surprise will be home to the company's western regional HQ and represent as much as a $40M investment in the Southwest Railplex Industrial District. IRIS USA makes consumer plastic storage products, and is opening an R&D facility for LED products.
