Italian Food Distributor Buys Logistics Center In West Phoenix

Greco & Sons Inc., a national food distributor that specializes in Italian foods, acquired the 368k SF Santa Fe Logistics Center at 4450 North 45th Ave. in West Phoenix for $22.4M. The seller was the locally based Tratt Properties.

The LEED-certified distribution facility features 32-foot clear height and industrial-grade lighting, insulation and safety features. The facility includes a 112k SF section leased to Hensley, a local Budweiser distributor. Greco intends to occupy 130k SF immediately and to make the remaining space available for lease. The company's long-term intent is to grow into the other spaces as leases expire.
