Smoke's Poutinerie, which specializes in the Quebec-native dish of French fries and cheese curbs topped by gravy, inked a multi-unit franchise agreement for eight locations on the East Coast this year, including Philadelphia.
One such poutinerie will be in Center City, though the chain hasn't found a spot yet. Other locations will be in New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland, the Philadelphia Business Journal reports. Imperial Restaurant Group, which owns restaurants in the Mid-Atlantic region, is the franchisee. [PBJ]
