West Chester School District Pays $3.5M For New Offices

The West Chester School District is moving offices in 2017, and has secured a new home in Exton.

The district purchased 7 Whiteland Plaza, a 42k SF building in the Whiteland Business Park, for $3.5M from Seven Whiteland Plaza Associates. The business park sits at 782 Springdale Drive, off Delaware County artery Route 30. Philadelphia suburbs-based firm Lieberman Earley brokered the deal, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

West Chester School District's current location, 829 Paoli Pike in West Chester, would require over $5M in repairs and renovations to stay, according to the district. Delaware County Community College and West Chester University School of Nursing also reside in Whiteland Business Park. Maybe they'll consider rebranding it as the Whiteland Education Park. [Philly]
