Smaller Firms Join to Form Exis

A group of 17 real estate firms, including Tactix Real Estate Advisors, is joining forces to create a much larger company called Exis. According to its founders, the new entity will have a global reach, focusing on tenant rep and other deals. Principal of Tactix and founding board member of Exis Glenn Blumenfeld says the move was prompted by ongoing consolidation in the industry, the Philadelphia Business Journal reports. He also noted that consolidation has left fewer choices in the market for tenants, which will provide opportunity for the new company. [PBJ]
