Five Below To Move Headquarters Within Center City

Clothing retailer Five Below is moving its corporate HQ to 701 Market St in east Center City.

The company's current HQ is a 60k SF space at 1818 Market St, and its new location will total nearly 200k, including a two-floor retail space and a "mock lab store" to test merchandise. Five Below had been looking for a new site for two years, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Other sites considered included Camden and the Philadelphia Navy Yard before the company, founded in Philly in 2002, decided to remain in Center City. It moved into its current HQ in 2011, before which it was located at 1616 Walnut St. [PBJ]
