Collaborative, open-plan office space's thriving in suburban Philly, Keystone Property Group partner Richard Gottlieb tells us. Recently the company completed upgrades at its Westlakes office buildings in Berwyn to facilitate more modern space, and tenants have responded with new leases and renewals in short order, including four new tenants and Berkshire Hathaway's renewal and expansion for nearly 22k SF.
Some of the most compelling features at the new Westlakes are the patio, breakout rooms and common areas, which are good for brainstorming as well as after-work socializing, Richard says. The buildings also now have indoor and outdoor WiFi, and other upgrades include a new outdoor lounge area; the addition of a full-service deli; an expanded wellness center with new fitness equipment; and the addition of two conference facilities.
