Sponsor Spotlight: Massey Knakal and The Bowery House

There’s much ado about Bowery. Last month, Massey Knakal’s SVP Robert Burton exclusively negotiated the lease (with option to purchase) of 17k SF at 218-220 Bowery, the former Prince Hotel in SoHo. Alessandro Zampedri, world-renowned Italian Indycar driver (founder of BMC Consulting) and partner Sanford Kunkel signed the two-year lease/option to open The Bowery House, a stylish, affordable hospitality concept that’s just as much museum as hotel. Alessandro says this historical building once served as temporary housing for WWII soldiers returning home and will reopen its transformed doors this Saturday. The leasehold for the hotel includes the entire third and fourth floors, and part of the first floor (for chic coffee bar). Don’t worry about the R Bar on the ground floor. It will stick around, as will the tenants on the second floor. Learn more about Massey Knakal here and check out The Bowery House here.
