Monarch Beach Resort Completes $40M Renovation

Dana Point's Monarch Beach Resort just finished a $40M renovation.

As part of the yearlong project, the resort has welcomed a new spa, Miraval Group's Miraval Life in Balance Spa, the first one in Southern California. It also includes a Drybar salon.

The resort has a new swimming pool area with cabanas and five new restaurants.

In addition to the resort's Monarch Bay Club, the new restaurants include AVEO Table + Bar, 33° North, Part & Parcel Market, Club 19 and Sombra, according to GlobeSt. Miraval has its own Miraval Spa Cafe as well.

As part of the reno, 400 guest rooms were upgraded. [GS]
