Candy for Adults Store Opening Two NYC Locations

Sugarfina, a high-end, adult-targeted candy store chain based in LA, is opening its first two NYC stores this fall. The sweets shop will take 1,000 SF at a space on upper Madison Avenue, as well as a 250 SF space on the first floor of the Time Warner Center (pictured). The chain currently has six West Coast stores. Offerings include a 4.2-ounce box of gummy bears made with real champagne for about $8. The stores, which will each have a “candy concierge,” will host events and provide a candy delivery service. [CNY]
