PwC Closing In On 250k SF Expansion Near Grand Central

PricewaterhouseCoopers is closing in on a big expansion to around 250k SF at 90 Park Ave.

The Real Deal, which first reported the news this morning, is not reporting that the auditing firm will vacate any space at its 800k SF HQ at Brookfield’s 300 Madison Ave, just a block away. Asking rents at the Vornado-owned building are in the upper $60s to low $70s per SF.

At least some of the space PwC is in negotiations for was previously rented by Capital One Bank. CBRE’s Tim Dempsey, is repping PwC, and an in-house team is repping Vornado. No word on whether an LOI has been signed or exactly when the lease is expected to close. [TRD]
