Box Factory Bringing 63K SF Of New Office/Retail Near Bushwick

Ridgewood has a new commercial building, and it means 63K SF of office and retail space will be available to lease on 1519 Decatur St.

Known as "The Box Factory," the development, a partnership between Hornig Capital Partners and Brickman Real Estate, will contain roughly 56K SF of offices and 7,500 SF of retail space when it opens in June of this year.

Of the office space, 29K SF will be on the first floor, 31K SF will be available on the second floor and 3,500 SF will be available on the third floor, according to a release from the developers. The announcement billed the property as on the Bushwick/Ridgewood border.

Fogarty Finger Architecture designed the $10M renovation of the former wood joist manufacturing building. ABS Partners broker Ben Waller is marketing the office space to prospective tenants, while Ripco Realty's Andrew Clemens has been tasked to find retail tenants for the project.
