Brookfield Office Tower Will Cost $2.1B

Brookfield’s One Manhattan West will cost $2.1B to develop, reports The Real Deal, citing an application filed with the New York City Industrial Development Agency. Included in the figure are costs for land, marketing and construction. The office tower at Ninth Avenue and 33rd Street will include over 2M SF, with 100K SF of retail. The IDA has a hearing scheduled in February to decide whether to reduce Brookfield’s taxed burden for the project. A later hearing will decide that the Mets are going to win the World Series this year.
