Chetrit Group Files Plans for 300-Key Hotel After Dissolving JV

The Chetrit Group has filed plans with the city for a 300-key hotel at 255 West 34th St.

Plans call for 122k SF and 33 stories, with three levels of retail space. The hotel will be packed with amenities, including an outdoor pool, a pool bar and a seventh-floor terrace, according to The Real Deal.

The site is part of an assemblage the Chetrit Group picked up last year in a JV with Cornell Realty Management for $61M.

News came out that the firms parted ways and split the site up earlier this year. Cornell’s half of the site will reportedly include a four-story retail development totaling 35k SF. [TRD]
