At its holiday party at the Scandinavia House last week, ULI New York honored Janette Sadik-Khan (flanked by ABS Partners' Ash Zandieh and New York Building Congress president Dick Anderson), whose reign as NYC Department of Transportation commissioner ended Friday. Since Mayor Mike appinted her in '07, Janette has overseen the development of 59 public plazas and spearheaded Citi Bike. Basically, every time you sit in public, you have Janette to thank (and your personal trainer to apologize to).
