RKF’s First Canadian Office

New York's RKF CEO Robert Futterman (left) is headed to Canada, opening a Toronto office this month. It'll be led by Steven Alikakos (right), who has worked with the country's most visible retail landlords and tenants, most recently at DTZ, bringing Brooks Brothers to Canada (the most famous brothers in Canada since Scott and Rob Niedermayer—this fulfills our one-NHL-joke-per-year quota). Robert notes the Canadian stores coming to the US like Joe Fresh, Lululemon, and Aldo and says RKF also reps retailers curious about Canada. The next move for a lot of those companies is Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa, and Montreal, Steven says.
