Kushner Cos Names New President

Kushner Cos has tapped Laurent Morali as its new president; he most recently served as its head of acquisitions and capital markets.

Laurent had a hand in $3.2B of acquisitions, and the number jumps to $14B when it includes sales and financing deals. Most recently, Laurent helmed Kushner Cos’ move into retail investment and lending—including on JDS Development and Chetrit Group’s supertall tower in Downtown Brooklyn, according to The Real Deal.

Laurent first joined Kushner Cos in 2008. His boss, Jared Kushner, will stay on as CEO, although he appears to be keeping busy these days as one of the most influential figures in Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. [TRD]
