90-Story Hotel and Casino in Jersey City?

Northern New Jersey is preparing to vote on allowing casinos, and billionaire Paul Fireman is ahead of the game. He is refining plans for Liberty Rising, a casino project at 100 Caven Point Rd, now being used as a parking lot for his golf course in southern Jersey City. The $4B complex, designed by Friedmutter Group Architects, will have a 90-story1,500-key luxury hotel, restaurants and a theater, New York YIMBY reports. Plans for a record-breaking Ferris Wheel or a racetrack have been scrapped, but the complex will have ferry service to New York City. [YIMBY]
