Argent Ventures is planning a 980-unit mixed-use development, called Baldwin Place, in Jersey City's Journal Square. Baldwin Place will replace a four-story, 300k SF former factory at 180 Baldwin Ave. It will consist of two seven-story buildings on Baldwin Avenue, with two 25-story towers behind them, NY Yimby reports. There will also be ground-floor retail and public plazas. Marchetto Higgins Stieve is slated to design. [NYY]
