Which Real Estate Companies Made the Climate A List?

Host Hotels & Resorts, Macerich and Simon Property Group (its Houston Galleria mall, above) are among the corporations that have made this year's CDP "Climate A List," which recognizes companies that have worked hard to reduce their carbon footprints and have signaled corporate support for a low-carbon economy. Overall, the recently released CDP Global Climate Change Report 2015 discovered that in the past five years, companies that have made the list saw an 89% increase in activities that reduce carbon emissions; 75% of companies offer incentives for climate change management; and 94% of companies have board or senior management responsibility for climate change.
