Lyft Finds New HQ

Ride-hailing company Lyft will move its HQ to 185 Berry St in San Fran's China Basin Landing. The move will take place in the coming months.

The move gives the company needed space, tripling the amount available for growth, Curbed reports.

The smaller Lyft has been engaged in a fierce competition with the larger Uber. Prominent investors such as Carl Icahn and GM have backed Lyft.

Uber bought the Sears building in Oakland last year and plans on opening offices there next year. [Curbed]
