REPORT: Here Are The Hottest Office Markets This Year

Dublin will see the highest office rent growth (10.7%) in 2016 narrowly beating out San Jose at just over 9%, according to CBRE’s 2016 Global Real Estate Market Outlook report.

Dallas, Philadelphia, Boston and Columbus round out the list of US cities projected at over 5.5% rent growth—each for different reasons, but all are supported by tech sector growth and slow growth in office supply.

European cities make up the bulk of hot office markets. Besides Dublin in first place, the top 10 includes Manchester, Madrid, Barcelona, Stockholm and London’s West End, all above 5.5% rent growth.

Following early 2016’s market troubles in the region, hot office markets in Asia and the Pacific are few and far between, but some rocking cities include Bangalore, Tokyo, Sydney and Hong Kong.
