Racking Up More U.K. Space With Digital Realty

The third time's a charm for Rackspace. The Cloud storage company is moving forward with Digital Realty Trust on a 130k SF data center in Crawley, West Sussex (that's in the United Kingdom for you Yanks). This makes the third U.K. data center for Rackspace, with two others near Heathrow airport. (The data in England is the same as it is here, except that it tends to be more polite.) Rackspace's Mark Roenigk and Digital Realty's Mike Foust were recently on hand at the 15-acre campus for a groundbreaking ceremony. According to SEC filings, the facility with have 10 MW of power capacity, with 6 MW across two suites, being delivered starting in 2015.
