Thor Equities Appoints New COO

Thor Equities appointed Melissa Gliatta as the new COO for North America. Working as CEO Joe Sitt's second-in-command, Melissa will oversee leasing, management and development for the global real estate firm.

While the bulk of the Thor portfolio sits in NYC, Thor has expanded beyond the Big Apple in recent years, picking up assets in Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles, Montreal and Europe. (Thor recently picked up its first Italian property.)

In addition to reinforcing Thor's key holdings in the US and Canada, Melissa will help continue its expansion in Europe and Latin America. Melissa joined Thor in 2003 as VP before being promoted to executive VP in 2010.
