| When Bixby Land Co mentioned Trimble, we first thought of tribbles—those cute, fast-reproducing furballs from Star Trek. Turns out that Bixby has acquired Trimble Technology Park, a four-building office campus in San Jose, for $29M-plus. Going for a three-peat following recent renovations in Santa Clara and San Jose, Bixby plans to invest another $23M into repositioning and rebranding the 234k SF property. Project highlights include the Bixby Retreat, an outdoor living room with fire pits, couch seating, and kitchen. The addition of 16k SF of new office space will bring the campus (375, 397, 399, and 441 W Trimble Rd) to 250k SF. Bixby acquired the property in a venture with Cornerstone Real Estate Advisors, and repped itself. CBRE's Joe Moriarty represented seller Rockpoint. Captain's log: ended. |
