Most firms are shrinking footprints, eschewing offices for open floor plans, and some are even ditching the office altogether for co-working hubs like WeWork—we snapped one of the firm’s DC locations last month.
Crystal City was once a drab home to government agencies and defense contractors, but is now reinventing itself as a haven for tech firms. Vornado, the neighborhood’s biggest landlord, is leading the charge with DesignLab, a full floor of six tech-focused spec suites each designed by a different architect.
