CBRE Hires Vet For North American Logistics

CBRE Global Investors hired John Thomas as senior managing director to oversee the company’s North American logistics investment strategy, adding serious leadership to the $86B investment division.

John has 30 years of industrial/logistics experience, managing European operations for both Hillwood Investment Properties and Panattoni Development Co, CBRE said. 

He also co-founded Clarion Partners’ Lion Industrial Trust, and worked high in the ranks of Crow Holdings and Trammell Crow. With the rapid changes in global commerce, John’s experience is crucial to meet the increased demand for logistics assets, CBRE CEO Matt Khourie says.
