The Greece debt crisis and the country’s ultimate status in the eurozone have led to upheaval and uncertainty in global markets. Stocks were down across the board on Monday, but one sector actually performed quite well. REITs traded higher on the day while the broader market sold off, and the trend may continue, according to Benzinga. Global investors may flock to the US dollar, US Treasuries and high-quality US real estate in a flight to safety.
